Record (or transcribe) one 10-minute practice session.

Advice disguised as curiosity

Self-score:

1–5 scale for neutrality.

ASSIGNMENT 2: FIRST-PERSON EMBODIMENT ACCURACY

Practice:

Have client respond in first person as the perspective.

Coach must ensure:

No switching back to third person.
No commentary.
No summarizing.

Reflection:

Did you interrupt the embodiment?

PHASE 2: DEVELOPMENTAL DIFFERENTIATION

ASSIGNMENT 3: PERSPECTIVE DEPTH ASSESSMENT

After interviewing a perspective, ask:

Is this perspective rigid or flexible?
Fear-based or growth-oriented?
Context-bound or generalized?
Age-locked?

Write developmental hypothesis WITHOUT telling client.

This builds diagnostic maturity.

ASSIGNMENT 4: EQUAL ONTOLOGICAL STATUS DRILL

Interview:

A “positive” perspective
A “negative” perspective

Ensure tone is identical.

Journal:

Did I subtly privilege one?

PHASE 3: WORKING WITH RESISTANCE

ASSIGNMENT 5: INTERVIEW RESISTANCE ITSELF

When client resists, say:

“Can we speak to the part that doesn’t want to do this?”

Track:

Did resistance soften?
Did you remain calm?
Did you rush?

PHASE 4: DREAM INTERVIEW PRACTICUM

Conduct full dream character interview with:

Dominant figure
Threatening figure
Background element

Must include:

Desire
Fear
Protective function
Developmental age

Submit transcript for review.

PHASE 5: ETHICAL BOUNDARIES ASSIGNMENT

Write 1–2 pages:

When should interviewing stop?
What trauma markers require referral?
How do I avoid suggestion?
How do I prevent spiritual bypassing?

This is required for accreditation maturity.
