Learning Interviewing
Integral Deep Listening (IDL) provides students, coaches, and clinicians with structured, ethically grounded ways to test the method both in their lives in those of their clients.
IDL interviews waking life issues, dream and transpersonal elements in order to support healing, balancing, and transformation.
It aligns life with evolutionary emergence, integrating self and other, to balance adaptation and selfless reorganization, and practical life manifestation with access to unlimited creativity at the edge of chaos.
“Introduction to Interviewing” is a narrated slideshow that is your first step in accreditation as an IDL Coach, Practitioner, or Trainer.
IDL Interviewing Protocols
Access questionnaires for interviewing dreams, nightmares, waking life issues, transpersonal experiences, physical symptoms, children, and adolescents, and special need individuals.
Applying Interview Recommendations
Genuine validity and credibility are based on real world application, not on belief or authority. For you to move IDL from a conceptual system to an authentic, integrated means of supporting others and yourself, you have to test the method to determine if its claims are justified. Does it heal, balance, and transform? Application is how you find out. If you find that to be true, IDL will then make experiential sense at a depth that will greatly increase your competency as an interviewer, coach, and clinician.
Testing Interview Recommendations
Tracking Who, What, and When You Interview, and Application Outcomes. It is easy and natural to lose track of your interviews, just as it is easy to forget your dreams. If you do not have a way to access who and what you interviewed, both for yourself and your clients, it is like earning money, putting it in a bank, and forgetting it is there. Making withdrawals from the wealth in your account requires keeping records of your interviews, what was recommended, what dream yoga application was made, and what the results were.
